Defilements are not enemies to defeat. Greed, aversion and delusion come and go according to conditions. Looked at with interest instead of blame, they show us how the mind works.

In daily life every small task is a chance to practise: washing dishes, walking, talking with family. What matters is not what you are doing but whether the mind knows that it is doing it.
